TWO new businesses will call Citiswich Business Park their home later this year, with estate developer Walker Corporation claiming more are on the way.

International pump and valve manufacturing business KSB Australia will build a warehouse at the site near Dinmore, while Caltex will have an unmanned diesel petrol stop.

With 35 staff already planning to move from their current Brisbane base once their new 7791sqm site is scheduled for completion in November, KSB managing director Dave Alexander said they were hoping to expand and employ more workers.

“Our business is certainly growing in Australia, and Queensland especially is one of our key areas – our location here will let us take full advantage of that,” Mr Alexander said.

Caltex Energy Queensland regional manager Scott Nicholls said his group would establish a diesel stop at the estate to cater for Citiswich businesses and the wider Ipswich logistics and trucking industry.

“The best industrial land in the state is Ipswich, so we’ll be able to cater for growth that will happen here in the region,” Mr Nicholls said.
