Global steel manufacturer and distributor OneSteel Reinforcing will relocate to the Walker Corporation's Citiswich Business Park.

The company will build a $4 million 200sq m warehousing and distributio facility in Stage 1 of the 335ha estate fronting the Warrego Highway in Bundamba, west of Bribane.

Geoff Johnson, manager northern region for OneSteel Reinforcing said the location will better service existing and new clients.

"OneSteel Reinforcing will take advantage of the daily expusre to 20,000 vehicles along the Warrego Highway along with being located in the future growth corridor which is fast becoming a central location for businesses," he said.

"Both brand recognition and exposure is important to OneSteel Reinforcing.
"After difficulties finding highway exposure and parcels suitable for smaller facilities like ours, Citiswich was the answer for us."

The company supplies steel reinforcing through a national branch network for commercial, residential and civil construction, as well as the mining, agriculture and manufacturing sector.
Other companies in Walker's $1 billion business park include KSB, ThoroughClean, API, Reject Shop, Caltex, Hume, Capral Aluminium & True Blue Beverages.

Walker Corporation executive chairman Lang Walker said he was pleased to assist OneSteel Reinforcing in finding a new location.

"OneSteel Reinforcing is a great addition to the high calibre of tenants already committed at Citiswich Business Park," he said.
